So ive always felt Minecraft as a stand alone, was fairly bland and lacking in many aspects. But when i saw the variety of Mods and their capabilities i had to try them out, so i got Minecraft and have toyed around with some. Now, we have a server running the "Tekkit Launcher" that is a glorious mix of amazing Mods, all packed into 1 tiny download. It has Railcraft for advanced minecarts. It has IndustrialCraft for High Tech machines and Power. (Solar, Water, Wind, Nuke, Lava) It has Buildcraft for Piping and refining goods and resources like new Ores and Oil and Engines. It has RedPower which adds advanced Redstone machines that can move blocks and create complex networks. It has Computercraft for building and programing machines to lock doors, provide service, or to control building/mining robots. It has Equivalent Exchange for your mystic arts. Magical tools and devices that do amazing thigns. It has.... ALOT more. Seriously. All of this is on 1 server and on 1 launcher.
