Since this is a gaming board, I figured I'd start with some anime that is about gaming. So now I can slowly relate the two until I can link anime that has nothing to do with gaming here. MUHAHAHAHAHAHA Anyways, here is the summary: One autumn day in 2046, Haruyuki has an encounter with Kuroyuki-hime, the prettiest girl in his school. For the middle school boy who is often bullied, the meeting changes his life. Through a mysterious piece of software she gave him, Haruyuki learns about the existence of the virtual Accel World. It was after that fateful encounter that Haruyuki of the lowest school caste becomes Burst Linker, a courageous knight defending a princess. It is basically about a future where people have mental up-links to the global net and such and there exists a program that gives you the ability to accelerate your thought process 1000 fold (basically see the world in very very slow motion for a while) which can give you a decisive advantage in real world situations but to maintain this ability they have to play a virtual reality fighter game and win to get points to keep playing and accelerating. There is more, but I don't like to give too much away. As of right now, 13 episodes are out and it is scheduled to span 24 episodes total. It comes out every Friday, and I must say it gets really good. Have a good watch if you so choose. Oh, one thing I forgot to mention is that the main character is fat, which is kind of rare for an anime... they usually don't have the main character with that build. I will definitely watch this once it finishes airing. As i always say, I rather watch it in one sitting than prance around going nutz waiting for the next episode to air. The trailer has me set now I cant wait to watch this, I just hope it doesn't air more than several seasons to where I lose interest in watching it cause of all the fillers. Is this gonna be a typical 24-26 ep release or more? Or is that known yet?
I already said it's going to be 24 episodes. GAWD LEARN 2 READ!!!! and I don't think it's going to go more than a single season... which will be awesome. I just hope they give it an actual ending and not one of those "milestone reached but main arc not concluded" anime. However, looking at what is going on right now, that's probably what's going to happen. Now that I think about it they might make another season, I really have no clue, just watch it, it's awesome.
I will once it finishes, and I have to reread everything all the damn time to actually get information so to your learn to read you troll lol
