Rift has followed its usual pattern of releasing yet another update and more content to please its players!

With 1.9: Conquest, players can now change their appearance featuring the long awaited Barbershop tool! With a few subtle changes to features in game, there has also been a vast expansion in end game content!

Amidst Conquest, there are 10 new PvP ranks, and even your average Joe plays a big part in the battle, I'd tell you more, but that ruins the surprise. Take a few minutes to check out the newly updated event with the summertime theme!

GR:FS was originally slated to release for the PC tomorrow (6/12) but has been pushed back to the 26th. According to our sources, GamerApoc's own Naruzio hadn't finished setting up his "man cave" yet, and devs were weary on releasing the game prematurely.

Fortunately, they're not just resting with the time they have; the 26th release will also include enhanced Directx 11 support that will add better HD-graphics, lighting/shadows, as well as support for Xbox 360 gamepads.

So should we thank Naruzio for boosting the graphics of the PC release, or curse him for pushing back the date?
